1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. Hershey's chocolate flavored syrup
1 c. nuts

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate syrup to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Makes 16 brownies.
