HAMBURGER VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. lean beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. carrots, chopped
1/2 head of cabbage
1 c. canned corn
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lg. can V-8 juice
2 c. water
2 c. potatoes (optional)

Brown hamburger with chopped onion. Boil down 1/2 head cabbage and drain combined hamburger (drained) with all vegetables, salt, pepper, water and V-8 juice. Place all in large crock pot and slow cook for 8 hours.
