DANISH ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream Crisco and sugar, add eggs, beat well, sift dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Add nuts and roll in wax paper, put in refrigerator, chill and slice. Bake in oven 400 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes.
