TACO FILLING 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. shredded lettuce
1 c. chopped tomato, drained

In a large skillet, lightly brown beef, onion and salt about 10 minutes until onion is soft; drain. Add tomato sauce, cumin, garlic powder and cayenne. Simmer 15 minutes over low heat. Spoon into Pita halves. Top with Cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato.
