GNOCCHI ALA ROMAINE 
1 qt. milk
1/2 c. plus 1/3 c. butter
1 c. hominy grits (not instant)
1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese

Bring milk to boil; add 1/2 cup butter; stir until melted. Gradually stir in grits; resume boil and continue cooking, stirring constantly until mixture appears like cooked farina. Remove from heat, add salt, pepper and Mozzarella cheese. Beat with electric mixer for 5 minutes until mixture becomes creamy.

Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish and allow to set. Cut into rectangular pieces and place overlapped in casserole dish. Pour 1/3 cup melted butter over pieces and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
