RICE PILAF 
1 1/2 c. long-grain rice, uncooked
2 c. water
1/3 c. dry white wine
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 tsp. dried basil
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. butter
1/8 tsp. black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish, stirring well. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Serves 8.
