CRANBERRY STREUSEL BARS 
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
3 c. chopped cranberries
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cherry gelatin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Stir first 4 ingredients. Cut in shortening and butter until particles are very fine. Stir in egg and milk. Mix with a fork until dough cleans bowl. With floured fingers, pad dough into a greased 8 x 16 inch baking pan. Top with cranberries. Crumble together sugar, flour, gelatin and butter and sprinkle over cranberries. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool before cutting.
