TOLL HOUSE LAYERCAKE 
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll House chocolate chips (divided)

Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 15x10 baking sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely. Loosen sides of cake; invert onto lightly floured cloth. Cut cake crosswise into flour 3 3/4 x 10- inch sections. Spread 2 rounded tablespoons frosting on one cake layer, top with second layer; repeat layers. Frost entire cake with remaining frosting.

FROSTING:

3/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate chips

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Cream butter and confectioners sugar; add melted chips and vanilla and blend until smooth.
