HOLIDAY PUNCH 
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
6 strips lemon peel
12 whole cloves
1 stick of cinnamon (3 inches long of cinnamon)
1 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 pt. cranberry juice
1 1/2 c. sparkling water
2 c. cold water
Orange and lemon slices
Ice ring or block of ice for the punch bowl

This makes about 10 servings.

In a saucepan combine sugar, water, lemon peel, cloves and cinnamon. Simmer together 5 minutes. Let cool. Strain. Add before serving: orange juice, lemon juice, cranberry juice, sparkling water, and cold water.

Pour over a black of ice in the punch bowl. Garnish with orange and lemon slices.
