FRESH BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 lbs. fresh broccoli flowerets
1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. finely chopped red onion
6 slices cooked, crisp bacon, crumbled
1/2 c. sunflower seeds or peanuts

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
Fresh ground pepper

1. Toss together broccoli, raisins, red onion and bacon in a large bowl.

2. Prepare dressing by mixing mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and pepper. Mix with salad ingredients and refrigerate, covered, for at least two hours.

3. Toss with sunflower seeds just before serving. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
