TROPICAL APPLE SLAW 
3 c. shredded cabbage
9 oz. can pineapple tidbits drained
2 c. diced tart unpared apples such as Granny Smith, McIntosh, Paul Red, etc.
1/2 c. diced celery
1/2 c. slivered blanched almonds
1/2 c. to 3/4 cup mayonnaise

Combine all ingredients except mayonnaise. Mix well. Add mayonnaise. Toss until all ingredients are coated. Makes 8 servings as an accompaniment. Makes 6 servings as main dish.
