1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 c. flour

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and salt then add to cup of flour (mix only until flour is mixed, don't over mix). Roll into 1 inch balls, press onto ungreased cookie sheet with your thumb to make indentation then fill with your favorite jelly. Makes 18 cookies. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
