1 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 4 tbsp. heavy whipping cream 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour Colorful candied cherries or shelled walnuts Combine butter and sugar until smooth. Add cream and vanilla. Slowly add flour until all are combined (knead). For best results, refrigerate dough at least 2 hours before baking. Make into balls the size of small walnuts. Press thumb into each and insert nuts, candied cherries, etc. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees. |
