FRUITED CHEESE SALAD 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 (14 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 c. syrup from pineapple chunks
1 1/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. whipping cream or Cool Whip
2 bananas, peeled & sliced

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Drain pineapple; reserve liquid and water if needed to measure 1 cup liquid and stir in gelatin. Chill until mixture begins to thicken. Fold in drained pineapple, bananas, and 1 cup cheese. Fold in Cool Whip, turn into oiled 7 cup mold. Chill 4 to 5 hours or overnight. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup cheese on salad when it is served. Serves 8.
