RAMEN NOODLE SALAD 
1/2 head cabbage (red, green or both), coarsely chopped
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 pkg. Ramen noodles

DRESSING:

3 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/4 tsp. pepper
Seasoning packet from Ramen noodle pkg. (shrimp flavor is best)

Combine cabbage and onions. Thirty minutes before serving, break up uncooked noodles and add, with nuts, to cabbage. Toss with dressing and serve. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
