3 c. sifted flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 scant tbsp. baking soda
1/2 tbsp. nutmeg
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. whole milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

In mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg; cut up the 2 sticks of butter and add to mixture and mix well. Add in 2 beaten eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla and mix well all together.

Let mixture chill overnight in refrigerator. Set out mixture the next day until soft; roll out mixture and cut out cookies. Place on greased cookie sheet and sprinkle top of cookies with sugar. Put in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. (Makes 30-35 cookies.)
