PIZZELLE 
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks melted butter or oil
2 tsp. anise extract
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder

In large bowl blend eggs; add sugar gradually. Beat until smooth. Add cooled butter. Stir in anise extract. Stir together flour and baking powder. Add to egg mixture folding and stirring until mixture is smooth. Heat pizzelle iron. Drop batter about 1 tablespoon for a 5" diameter iron, in center of heated grid.
