CHEESE STRAWS 
1/4 c. real butter, softened
4 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (use more if desired)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. self-rising flour

Mix butter, cheese, pepper and salt with an electric mixer. Add flour and mix well.

Let dough rest for 30 minutes. Run dough through a durable star-shaped cookie press.

Note: Can use a metal cookie press. Dough is so thick that a plastic cookie press will break.

Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes or until brown.
