SELF - FILLED CUP CAKES 
1 box devil's food cake mix
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash salt
6 oz. pkg. chocolate morsels
Chocolate glaze icing (recipe follows)

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon batter into paper lined muffin pans, filling 2/3's full. Combine cream cheese and sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add egg and salt, beating well. Stir in chocolate morsels. Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture into center of each cup cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to complete cooling. Yields about 2 1/2 dozen cupcakes.

CHOCOLATE GLAZE ICING:

6 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt

Melt butter and cocoa in sauce pan, add milk, salt and blend. Remove from heat, add powdered sugar and vanilla. Blend until smooth. If too thick add a few drops of milk, sparingly.
