1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour (all purpose)
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. flavoring

Cream butter and sugar until light, add eggs, one at a time, beating each in thoroughly. Sift and add dry ingredients alternately with milk and flavoring. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 degrees 45 to 60 minutes.
