SAUERKRAUT & NOODLES 
12 oz. med. egg noodles
1 tbsp. butter
2 strips of bacon, chopped
1/2 c. onions, diced
1 c. (1 lb. 4 oz.) sauerkraut, drained
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced American cheese
Dash of paprika

Cook noodles as directed. Drain. Add butter, toss lightly. Meanwhile, saute the bacon and onions until transparent. Add to sauerkraut with pepper and caraway seed. Arrange 3/4 of sauerkraut in a 2 quart small baking pan sprayed with Pam. Then cover with 3/4 noodles and 6 slices of cheese. Add remaining sauerkraut, then remaining noodles. Top with cheese. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika. Place under broiler until brown.

Serves: 8. Good with pork.
