GINGER DROPS 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tbsp. ginger

Cream butter and sugar; add egg, molasses and dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 50 cookies.
