GRANDMA'S BANANA CAKE | |
1 c. sour milk 2 1/2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. vegetable oil 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (3) 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1/2 c. chopped nuts Place flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl; stir up. Add oil, bananas, sour milk, vanilla and mix until all dry ingredients are dampened. Beat vigorously for 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 more minutes. Stir in chopped walnuts. Bake in greased and floured 9x13 cake pan in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan if you want. Frost with cream cheese frosting. |
