SALTED BUTTER CRACKERS 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine and mix well. 1/3 c. butter, melted

Stir into flour mixture until smooth dough forms.

Divide dough in half; cover and let stand at least 10 minutes.

Place each half on lightly oiled 17 x 14 inch baking sheet. Flatten dough into 4 inch square and roll out on baking sheet to 16 x 12 inch rectangle. Cut in 2 inch squares. Prick all over with a fork.

Brush each with 1 tablespoon of butter.

Sprinkle with salt to taste.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes or until crackers are dry and golden but not browned completely. Remove to racks to cool. Yields 90-100 crackers.
