FRENCH BUTTERNUT SNOWBALLS 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla well in bowl. Sift flour and salt; add to mix. Add nuts to mix. Mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

When cooled, roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in airtight tin. Keeps up to 2 weeks.
