SWEET AND SOUR VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. water
1 sm. can white shoepeg corn, drained
1 sm. can LeSueur peas, drained
1 (#2) can French style green beans, drained
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
1 sm. jar pimentos, chopped

Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Let cool. Mix all vegetables, pour syrup over them and marinate 24 hours in refrigerator.
