RICH CHOCOLATE FUDGE 
4 c. sugar
1 can (14 oz.) evaporated milk
1 c. butter
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi sweet chocolate bits
1 jar marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped nuts

In 4 quart microwave bowl, mix sugar, milk, and butter. Cook on high power for 20 to 22 minutes, or until a few drops of mixture in cold water forms a softball. (234 degrees on candy thermometer. Do not leave the thermometer in oven while cooking). Stir well every 5 minutes while cooking. Stir in chocolate bits and marshmallow cream. Stir until well blended. Add vanilla and nuts, mix then pour into buttered 9 inch square dish for thick pieces or 7 1/2 x 12 inch dish for thinner pieces. Cool and cut into squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
