1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 lg. egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream with 1 tsp. baking soda added
1 c. boiling water
2 sq. chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream the first 3 ingredients, then add the next 3 ingredients. Add soda to the sour cream while the first ingredients are being creamed so it can set for a couple of minutes. Add the rest and blend until smooth. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Very good chocolate cake!
