ROBBIE'S ROUSING RICE PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. rice
1/2 c. raisins
Nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
2 eggs

Heat milk and salt to simmering, stir in rice and simmer for 15 minutes. Add raisins; cook until rice is tender (5 minutes).

In bowl, beat eggs with sugar and evaporated milk. Blend several spoonfuls of rice, one at a time into egg mixture. Return entire mixture to saucepan. Cook until thickened. Pour into bowl, cool and sprinkle with nutmeg.
