BASIC WHOLE GRAIN PANCAKES | |
2 c. milk or soy milk 1 to 3 eggs 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour (whole wheat) or any combination of whole wheat, rye, soy, oat, millet or buckwheat 1/4 c. honey 1/4 c. oil 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon In a large bowl place milk, eggs, baking powder, salt, honey, oil, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix well. Add flour and/or grain, beating only until large lumps disappear. Cook on griddle over medium-high heat (375 degrees). Turn when small bubbles appears. Remove when they stop steaming. |
