PIZZA DOUGH 
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Salad oil (approximately 1 tsp.)

Boil water, add shortening, sugar and salt in mixing bowl. Add boiling water, cool to 120 degrees. Sprinkle yeast over water and stir, then pour into shortening sugar mixture; add 1 cup flour and knead to make dough. Turn dough onto floured board. Knead 5 to 8 minutes (wash bowl, grease lightly and return dough to bowl). Allow to sit in warm place 15-30 minutes. Punch down - turn out on floured pastry sheet and stretch to fit a greased pizza pan.
