TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 egg, beaten
20 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
3 apples, peeled & cubed
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. miniature marshmallows

In large saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, beaten egg, lemon juice and pineapple juice, mixing well until dissolved. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick. When cool, add cubed apples, pineapple tidbits, marshmallows, nuts and Cool Whip. Mix well and refrigerate until using.
