STIR 'N DROP OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. milk
1 egg
3/4 c. Spanish peanuts or raisins

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, brown sugar and rolled oats. In a separate bowl combine oil, milk and egg. Mix in thoroughly with dry ingredients. Stir in peanuts or raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonful 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until soft. Do not over cook. Yield: 3 dozen.
