DELUXE STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 eggs yolks
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. Bisquick baking mix
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. firm butter

1 1/2 c. strawberry halves
Strawberry Glaze (see below)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix baking mix and 2 tablespoons sugar. Cut in butter. Pat in 9 inch round pan or pie plate, (or 8 x 12 1/2 inch baking dish). Bake 10 minutes.

Blend sugar, nutmeg, yolks and sour cream; spread over hot layer. Bake 20 minutes. Cool completely.

Prepare glace, cool slightly (or use prepared strawberry glaze). Arrange strawberries on layer. Spread glaze over strawberries. Refrigerate.

GLAZE:

Mash 1/2 cup strawberries. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch in 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Gradually stir in 1/4 cup water and the mashed strawberries. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minutes. Stir in few drops red food color, if desired.
