AMISH COOKIES 
1 c. corn oil
1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat oil, white sugar, powdered sugar and butter. Then add rest of ingredients. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Dip glass tumbler into sugar and press. Bake t 325 degrees on a greased cookie sheet. Bake until edges are golden brown. Approximately 12-15 minutes.
