BULK BRAN MUFFINS 
6 c. bran cereal, divided
2 c. boiling water
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Combine 2 cups bran cereal and boiling water. Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Sift flour with soda and salt. Combine dry ingredients, creamed mixture and bran cereal. Add remaining bran cereal. Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes. May add raisins or nuts just before baking.
