SCHOOL PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk (half evaporated milk-half water)
3/4 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. peanut butter

Mix sugar, butter and milk, bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and boil, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 238 degrees on a candy thermometer or soft ball stage in cold water. Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter. Beat until mixture starts to thicken. Pour into buttered 9x12 inch pan. cut into squares when lukewarm.
