DEBBIE'S OLD FASHIONED "BISCUIT TACOS" | |
2 cans biscuits 8 tbsp. flour Open biscuits and press 2 biscuits together. Roll out in flour to 3/4 inch diameter. There should be 10 biscuits ready to fill. FILLING: 2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese Salt & pepper Brown ground beef and onion, drain. Reduce heat. Add cheese to beef and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Heat 2 cups shortening. Fill biscuit shells with meat and cheese mixture. Fold in half moon and pinch together. Drop in hot grease and brown on each side. SALAD MIXTURE: 1/2 head lettuce 1 tomato, diced 6 to 8 green onions, chopped (stems & all) Toss salad mixture. Open biscuit taco and fill with salad mixture and favorite taco sauce. Serves 10. Absolutely delicious! Eat and enjoy! |
