SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. dark molasses
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda

Place butter and molasses in saucepan; stir while heating over low heat until butter is melted. Add sugar and well beaten eggs. Blend well. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture alternately with milk. Mix well.
