WHITE BROWNIES 
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. hot water
1 c. walnuts
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat egg WELL. Add sugar gradually; beat thoroughly. Add butter and water and beat. Add nuts and chips. Stir flour, baking powder and salt together and add to creamed mixture.

Pour into a greased 8x8 pan and bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are a very light brown. To double recipe, use 9x13 inch pan. Do NOT double chocolate chips.
