WALNUT ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. walnuts, chopped fine

Mix together. Put on board and pat with flour. Make into a loaf and wrap in wax paper. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Slice 1/4 inch or thinner. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
