DATE LOAF CANDY 
4 c. sugar
3/4 c. Karo (white)
2 c. milk

Mix and boil to soft ball stage. Add 1 cup dates (chopped). Cook to hard ball stage. Remove from fire and beat until thick and roll in wet towel (dish towel) and cool in refrigerator for about 2 hours. Slice - delicious!
