2 oz. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and eggs together until smooth and creamy. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into 2 (9 inch) cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
