2 c. applesauce
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
2 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
dash of salt

Mix all ingredients together and drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
