1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together and drop by spoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned.
