BAKING BLEND 
Use this for biscuits, dumplings and pancakes.

4 lb. flour
3/4 c. baking powder
1 qt. dry milk
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. shortening

Crumble together with hands. Store in cool dry place. When ready to use measure out amount wanted and add water to right consistency. For pancakes add 1 egg to 2 cups mix.
