E-Z AS A MIX PEANUT BUTTERSCOTCH
BROWNIES
 
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. chunky peanut butter
1/2 c. total carob or chocolate or butterscotch chips (optional)

Melt butter and mix with egg and brown sugar. Add flour a little at a time. When well mixed, add baking powder and vanilla; mix well. Add peanut butter (I use 3 globs on a knife for easy cleaning) and mix well. Add optional ingredients if desired.

Spread into greased 8-inch round or square baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.

Being allergic to chocolate, this recipe has cured my craving many times. It's my own variation of a butterscotch brownie recipe.
