HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1/2 c. sliced onion
12 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, slightly thawed
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. Corn Flakes

Mix together except 1/4 cup butter and Corn Flakes. Put into 1 1/2 quart buttered dish. Mix 1/4 cup butter and Corn Flakes. Use as topping. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. You can make 2 small dishes and cook 1 hour at 325 degrees.
