GLAZED PECANS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 4 ingredients in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add pecans and cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour on waxed paper to cool. Makes about 2 cups.
