HERBED FRENCH BREAD 
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 green onion, finely chopped
12 (3/4 in. thick) slices French bread

In a small bowl combine butter, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and green onion. Spread on one side of each slice of bread.

At picnic, toast slices on grill over medium coals for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Makes 6 servings.
